Extra Credit Project Guidelines:
You must commit (tell) your teacher that you will complete a project by the “half-way” point of the term.
The project is due the last day of the term.
You will be graded based on the following rubric

4 = Exceeds Expectations
(Detailed, Originality, Evidence of the Incorporation of Class and Outside Research, Neat, Interesting, Organized, Has Prepared with Ms. Jolibert throughout the term)
3= Meets Expectations
2= Developing
1= Good Start
4 on rubric = 2% points added to your final term grade; 3 on rubric = 1% point added to your final term grade; 2 on rubric = 2 extra credit points added to your most recent test grade

You may choose one of the following projects:
- ENGINEER: Create a 3D Model demonstrating something we learned in our class this term, Model is labeled. Along with the model is a written one page paper explaining an application of this model.
- VIDEO: Create a 3-5 Minute Video relating to the lessons in our class this term. Turn in a script of what you say. Make sure your Video is Original and includes a Works Cited page that carefully references where you got your information. Use a minimum of 4 sources for your research!
- BOOKS: Read an outside book (fiction or nonfiction) and take handwritten chapter notes relating to the lessons in our class this term. Write a one page reflection and relate what you learned from reading this book to what are learning in class.
- ART: Create a piece of art relating to our class this term that accurately portrays a lesson learned this term. Artwork should be no smaller than 8”x12”. Write a one page paper explaining how this art relates to a topic we have learned in class.
- SOCIALIZE: Interview someone that is in a career that relates to something we are learning this term in class. Ask a minimum of 20 questions (turn questions and responses into Ms. J). Create a product (brochure or poster) that advertises the career that you have interviewed.
- SHARE: Present a real-life case study to your class that relates to a topic we have learned this term in class.
- CHALLENGE YOURSELF: Complete a case study provided to you by Ms. Jolibert. Answer all questions and create a SOAP Note for this case study.
- BE A TEACHER AND CREATE YOUR OWN LESSON: Create your own fictional case study that relates to a topic we have learned in class. Make sure that you have a citation page citing at least 4 sources of information (research conducted to create your case study), include questions and answers for this case study.
Lunch with Scientist and Food Drive will be worth 1 extra credit point.
